In no particular order, we begin with the battleground that is PUBG. One of the most popular online multiplayer games of all time. PUBG: Battlegrounds is done in a ‘Battle Royale’ concept, which is like landing on a virtual island with a team of three friends (and a whole bunch of other online players), but with zero possessions. So, you have to go find them! That’s what makes this one of the best of online games – it’s challenging, fun and team work makes the dream work. Look for items such as guns, health kits, energy drinks, and other things that will help you to fight off your enemies and survive to become the last team standing.
Minecraft
This one needs no introduction – loved by online gamers globally, both young and old. Developed by Mojang, Minecraft is one of the best-selling games across the world with a monstrous active user base. The funny thing about the goals and objectives of this game is, there are none! Players can do whatever they want to do in the game, giving full authority to the users. Be creative. Build stuff, knock it done, and build it again. The game can be played from a first-person perspective (FPP) and a third-person perspective (TPP). The game has five different game modes which include Survival, Creative, Hardcore, Adventure, and Spectator.
Apex Legends
OK, so firstly we love this game, because it’s top-quality and it’s free. Apex Legends is available on various platforms like Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The theme of one of the best of online games, revolves around an island (similar to PUBG) where 20 ‘three-person squads’ or 30 ‘two-person squads’ hunt for weapons and supplies to put them ahead of the game and give them a chance to defeat other players in the game. As the game progresses, the island shrinks, creating a ‘do-or-die’ situation. It’s nail-biting!
Fortnite
Hands down (no pun intended) one of the best of online games, developed by Epic Games. Fortnite is a survival and ‘Battle Royale’ style game played by many people across the world. Interaction at its best! There are four major game modes available in Fortnite - Battle Royale, Party Royale, Creative, and Save the World. Fortnite Battle Royale Mode where players go against each other to survive till the end. Up to 100 players can participate in battle royale mode, which is epic! Players can play solo or as a group of 4 players, so the dynamics of the game are not one dimensional. Players can do much more than just fight, conquer and survive, you can build walls, stairs, and other support elements too.
League of Legends
An all-time favourite for gamers! One of the best of online games, without a doubt, League of Legends is also one of the oldest games around. It really has stood the test of time. Gamers enjoy playing LOL because of its mode scene, animation, and different graphics. Every level of this game has something new and different. In League of Legends, players work as a team in order to destroy a core building that is protected by the enemy’s team structures. It might be an oldie, but it sure is a goodie!
